3. Behind the seat, push both shoulder straps

under the owners manual pocket and out the

other side

. Reassemble the strap ends onto

the metal junction plate. The strap on your left

must go on first, then the strap on your right.

Check that the straps are completely within the

junction plate loop, as shown

, otherwise the

straps could slip out.

4. Inspect the harness straps from the front and

back of the safety seat to be sure they are not

twisted. Twisted belts can create slack in the

harness straps and reduce the protection

provided by the safety seat.

5. Pull on the harness straps from the front of

the safety seat to be sure the straps are secure.
